It is extremely important for you to have a trial before your wedding, the reasoning behind this varies from person to person but even if you feel like you are someone who doesn’t worry or care about makeup, I assure you, that you will for your wedding day. There are lighting aspects that we need to consider and also any skincare questions. I will always try to accommodate your makeup needs, so this is a great time to go through everything, I aim to book these 2-3 months before your wedding day but you can request a specific date if needed.

I have a vast array of makeup ranging from Laura Mercier to Revolution Pro. In my spare time I enjoy researching makeup products and learning from highly skilled professional makeup artists about what products are currently on the market and are receiving high praise and I like to try they out, so my case is ever evolving but I will always have the correct products for my brides on their wedding day.

I have a minimum of 3 people per wedding party. This can be a mixture of hair and makeup for the day (flower girls are not included)

I have recently trained in put ups and hair curling. As I work for myself I can only accommodate hair for brides under certain circumstances, for example if you wish me to do your makeup plus bridesmaids then I wouldn’t be able to accomplish that in the allotted time as you can imagine it can be quite hectic on the morning of a wedding. I know some fantastic hair stylists that may be available if I am unable to help.

Arrive at your appointment with no makeup on and around your eyes, especially mascara, this effects your retention.
You can not get your lashes wet for 24 hours so please shower beforehand.
Keep your lashes clean, I am more than happy to guide you on this at your appointment.
Oil based products will make your lashes lose retention so try not use them if possible.
Infills should be booked every 2-3 weeks, if you have less than 50% of your lashes left then I will have to charge you for a full set.

I am trained in acrylic nails but I do not like to do them. My entire premise is to enhance your natural beauty without causing damage to you. Unfortunately acrylics can be quite damaging to the natural nail so I decided to no longer have acrylics as a treatment. I do something called Gel Extensions, they will last as long as acrylics if they are taken care of, they have the same effect as are used to lengthen your nails. The greatest thing I find with these extensions is that they are less likely to cause damage to your natural nails. You have an infil or a full redo every 3-4 weeks or depending on how fast your nails grow.

For a standard beauty treatment booking I may require a deposit, I will confirm that with you at the time of booking. For brides I do require a 30% deposit after we have confirmed everything. As I do not book clients in on the date of your wedding, there is a high chance that I will lose on income if you cancel last minute. If I do not receive the deposit then I can not confirm your booking.

I will travel to your venue of choice up to a 15 mile radius, anything outside of that is charged at 50p per mile in the surrounding Yorkshire area.
